KEARNEY The City of Kearney Utilities Department announces the outside, eastbound lane of West 24th Street (West Hwy 30) will be closed from 15th Avenue to 19th Avenue beginning at 6:30 am on Thursday, Aug. 17 with plans to reopen completely by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, weather and construction permitting.
This lane closure is necessary to repair an emergency water main break.
Motorists are asked to slow down, use caution in the area, and watch for crew members and equipment.
