Since 1993 Chris Campbell has been making it to see his favorite band Def Leppard, including several back to back shows alternating between Lincoln and Omaha tour stops, but now he had to chance to see them on their stadium tour. He recounts that this is the same stadium tour that was pushed back two years due to COVID, but that it was well worth the wait. Here is his concert review:

“World tour number 2 for Motley Crue and Def Leppard this time with Alice Cooper in place of Poison and Joan Jett I knew would be entertaining since I’d seen Alice once before and his band didn’t disappoint at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha this past Sunday. Theatrical as I remember and very entertaining! Def Leppard was their usual dependable selves playing my favorites since 1977, but Motley was the surprise for me. Honestly I believe with Vince Niel putting more into getting in a little better shape his vocals were better, but mostly the replacement of Mick Mars as bad as it sounds was for the best. John 5 was brilliant in his place on the guitar. Made all the difference and that made Motley Crue the stars of the night!”
