Kearney, Nebraska – The Grand Island Northwest Vikings beat the Kearney Bearcats by a score of 12 to 3 in 6 innings on Tuesday, August 29 at Patriot Park.
Grand Island Northwest improved to 3-1 on the season and will play on the road next against Waverly on Tuesday, September 5.
Kearney fell to 3-5 on the season. The Bearcats face Lincoln High next on Thursday, August 31 at Doris Bair Softball Complex in Lincoln.
JV
Kearney, Nebraska – The Grand Island Northwest JV beat the Kearney JV by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday, August 29 at Patriot Park.
Grand Island JV improved to 2-0 on the season and will travel to Waverly for their next game on Tuesday, September 5.
Kearney JV fell to 2-6 on the season. The Bearcat JV team will face Lincoln High next on Thursday, August 31 at Doris Bair Softball Complex in Lincoln.
