“Overall I was very pleased with today’s result. It demonstrated we can compete with many of the top teams in the state. Today was a great measuring stick for us this early in the season. We obviously have a lot of room for improvement, but for us to come out of this invite with a 3rd place finish is a very solid result. Kyler Nichols and Brayden Kohtz did an excellent job of showing resilience today. They were down 6-1 to Elkhorn South before coming back to win in a tiebreaker. The duo then won another tiebreaker in the 3rd place match. Kyler and Brayden do a great job of seizing the momentum. Asher and Aydan finished the day in 2nd at #3 Doubles. Asher and Aydan served extremely well today. They were rarely broken and many of their serves ended as service winners or set their partner up for an easy put away shot. Overall I think our team played consistently and showed flashes of being aggressive.” – KHS Tennis Coach Troy Saulsbury
