ALVA, OKLA. – Super senior Cammie Davis converted a penalty kick in the 76th minute but it wasn’t enough as Northwestern Oklahoma State downed Nebraska Kearney, 2-1, Monday afternoon Alva.The Rangers, from the Great American Conference, improved 1-2-0 as they previously faced MIAA members Fort Hays State and Newman. They had eight in the contest compared to just one for UNK. Her third career goal just seconds after NW Okie had increased its lead. Down the stretch, Davis had a shot go high in the 87th minute with Lincoln junior keeper Mackenzie Smith recording five saves in goal.Drury and Eastern New Mexico play an 11 a.m. game at Forster Field before the Lopers and Hawks square off at 2 p.m.
