GRAND ISLAND — A domestic assault investigation also resulted in the finding of methamphetamine on a Grand Island man during the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 9.
At 12:55 a.m., the Grand Island Police Department was dispatched to North Front St. for the report of domestic assault.
Police say that Phraathit Sayaphommy was involved in a physical altercation with his intimae partner that resulted in bodily injury to their neck area.
A search incident to arrest revealed 1.6 grams of methamphetamine in Sayaphommy’s shorts pocket.
Sayaphommy was arrested for third degree domestic assault – cause bodily injury and possession of a controlled substance.
He was booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections at 2:31 a.m.
