KEARNEY — The acclaimed musical duo, the Talbott Brothers, are set to grace the halls of Kearney High School on Sept. 27, 2023, for an inspiring day of music, creativity, and performance. This visit promises to be an unforgettable experience for students and staff alike.
The Talbott Brothers, known for their unique blend of folk and rock music, will kick off their engagement with Kearney High School by hosting a special song-writing seminar in the Kearney High Forum during the first half of 5th block, starting at 2:20 PM. This seminar is a remarkable opportunity for students to explore the art of songwriting and poetry. Under the guidance of the English department staff , the Talbott Brothers will lead an engaging and interactive creative writing class during this session.
The collaboration between the Talbott Brothers and Kearney High School highlights the importance of nurturing creativity and artistic expression among the student body. It is a testament to the school’s commitment to providing diverse and enriching educational experiences.
The day’s festivities will culminate in a concert at 3 p.m., held in the KHS Concert Hall and Theater. This concert is open to all students and staff members and promises to be a thrilling performance by the Talbott Brothers.
