GRAND ISLAND — The structure fire that occurred at 2105 Capital Ave during the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 19 is being investigated as arson by the Grand Island Police Department.
Around 7:20 a.m., Grand Island officers responded to the residence in reference to a fire.
Officers arrived on scene and observed a single apartment complex on fire. Members of the Grand Island Fire Department arrived on scene with multiple pieces of equipment.
During the investigation, officers found evidence to classify the incident as arson.
The case remains under investigation by the Grand Island Police Department.
