HUSKER FOOTBALL TUESDAY PRACTICE COMMENTS – MARCUS SATTERFIELD:

SATTERFIELD – TOMMI HILL’S SPEED BRINGS NEW ELEMENT TO OFFENSE:

Marcus Satterfield, Nebraska Football’s offensive coordinator, spoke to the media Tuesday afternoon and was asked why Tommi Hill has been implemented more on the offensive side of the ball…

Hill had several targets the past two contests and has also continued to be a rotational player for the defensive backs.

SATTERFIELD – BOTH QUARTERBACKS GETTING BETTER; SPLITTING REPS:

Nebraska Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterifeld spoke to the media on Tuesday and addressed his quarterback situation and health of both Jeff Sims and Heinrich Haarberg…

Haarberg was a full-go for Tuesday’s practice and is aiming to earn his third consecutive start since Sims’ injury at Colorado.

SATTERFIELD – WHATEVER OFFENSE IT TAKES TO WIN:

Nebraska Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield spoke to the media on Tuesday and stated that he’s willing to adjust the offense to whatever is needed to win…

Satterfield added he would like to have more offensive balance ideally, but understands that the running game limits turnovers and gives the Big Red the best chance to win.

HUSKER FOOTBALL TUESDAY PRACTICE COMMENTS – TONY WHITE:

WHITE – PHYSICAL PRACTICES TO START WEEK:

Tony White, Nebraska defensive coordinator, spoke during his Tuesday presser and said this week has been about physicality during practices…

The Huskers will face a physical test against No. 2 Michigan on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

WHITE – EARLY SUCCESS DOES NOT MEAN MUCH AGAINST MICHIGAN:

Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White will not let his Blackshirts rely on their early season stats and successes with a big test coming to Lincoln on Saturday…

The Huskers are currently No. 2 in rushing defense across the FBS, only allowing 46 yards per game.

WHITE – MICHIGAN RUNNING BACKS VERY TALENTED:

Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White has the utmost respect for the Michigan running backs his Blackshirts face on Saturday…

Blake Corum is regarded as one of the best backs in the country and a fringe Heisman contender, while Donovan Edwards ran for over a thousand yards as Corum’s backup in 2022.
