HASTINGS — The City of Hastings and the Hastings Economic Development Corporation are partnering for the State of the City event on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The event will be hosted at the Lochland County Club, 601 W. Lochland Road and will occur from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants must register by Tuesday, Oct. 10 and the cost of the meal is $20.
Speakers will include Shannon Landauer, Executive Director of the Hastings Chamber and Economic Development and Shawn Metcalf, Hastings City Administrator.
The keynote speaker will be K.C. Belitz, Director of the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
“Before joining DED, Belitz spent four years as the Chief Operating Officer of the Nebraska Community Foundation, working with NCF staff, volunteers, donors, and organizational partners to impact the future of Greater Nebraska,” the City of Hastings stated.
