KEARNEY – Two Rivers Public Health Department and the United States Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 representatives will be host virtual or in-person sessions with valuable information and resources to protect you and your family from lead exposure. These sessions will be on Oct. 10, 2023, and will be entirely free of charge.
Exposure to lead, even low levels of lead, in children can cause long-lasting health effects like lower IQ, slowed or stunted growth, and hearing problems. However, there are many actions you can take to reduce and prevent potential lead exposure. These sessions will show you what you can do to prevent lead exposure to you and your family.
