RHULE – RECEIVERS WILL CONTINUE TO STEP UP WITH INJURIES:

Head Coach Matt Rhule spoke to the media for the first time during the Huskers’ bye week on Tuesday, adding that the receivers will need to continue to step up due to more injuries offensively…

The Huskers have now lost another receiver for the season, as Marcus Washington tore his ACL in the win at Illinois last week. 

 

RHULE – NEVER DEALT WITH THIS MANY OFFENSIVE INJURIES & DEPARTURES:

Nebraska is still one of the top rushing defenses in the country, allowing less than 30 yards on the ground to Illinois last week.
