LINCOLN – It will be a Top Two matchup at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Saturday night, as the latest AVCA poll has Wisconsin remaining at the top spot with Nebraska creeping behind the Badgers at No. 2.
The Huskers (17-0) on their best start to a season since 2008, and moved into the second ranking in early September. Wisconsin (17-0) stays at No. 1 as they have through most of the season.
Stanford (15-2) remained at No. 3, with Louisville (16-2) at No. 5 and Texas (13-3) at No. 6.
Penn State (13-4) whom Nebraska swept Saturday moved up to two spots to No. 11. Purdue slid to No. 19 after sitting at No. 15 the week prior.
Minnesota dropped out of the Top 25 but did receive the most votes of the unranked squads. Indiana also received votes for the first time this season.
Nebraska takes on Northwestern on Wednesday in Evanston, then hosts Wisconsin on Saturday in Lincoln.
