LEXINGTON — Heartland Chevrolet and Lexington Regional Health Center are hosting “A Time for Giving,” donation drive through November.

The donation drive lasts through Saturday, Nov. 16 with items such as unexpired, non-perishable foods, coats, hats gloves, boots and pet food accepted.

The drop off locations include Heartland Chevrolet, 1111 Plum Creek Parkway and Lexington Regional Health Center (LRHC), 1201 N. Erie St.

“It is a great thing to see two local businesses come together for this project. There are members of our community who don’t have winter coats or food. Our pets need to be taken care of as well. We are excited to see our community come together to help with this effort and we thank you all in advance for your donations,” said Peggy Block, LRHC Nursing Administrative Assistant.

“Join us as we drive to help in supporting families and individuals facing hard times in our community. Let’s show that when we unite for a common cause, we can create incredible change,” per Heartland and LRHC.
