NORTH PLATTE – A person died from an accident on I-80 near North Platte Friday.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol on Friday, law enforcement responded to a crash in the westbound lanes on I-80 near North Platte involving a semi and a pickup towing a trailer.
The pickup driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash temporarily shut down westbound traffic from Brady to North Platte.
The crash is still under investigation.
