It is Nebraska’s first road contest since traveling on a Friday night to Champaign, Illinois in the first weekend of October.

The Spartans fired their head coach Mel Tucker due to a scandal within the program, as Michigan State is 2-6 overall and winless in conference play.

The Huskers have been horrific in coughing up the football this season, as Nebraska is in the bottom tier of all FBS teams in fumbles. Matt Rhule spoke about the changes the coaches have made to attack the issue…

Rhule added that the coaching staff adjusted the practices and drills to continue to prepare the team for ball security.
