Shania Twain brought her second tour stop in Nebraska this year to the CHI Health Center in Omaha this time. She preformed in Lincoln at the Pinnacle Bank Arena back in May 2023. Fans had a second chance to catch the concert on Thursday, November 2nd on the headlining tour Queen Of Me, in support of her sixth studio album “Queen of Me”. The tour kicked off in April with a stop in Spokane, WA, and is scheduled to wrap up inĀ  Vancouver in just a couple weeks.

Shania surprised her guests with her opening song, “Waking Up Dreaming” by secretly rolling out in a cart in the middle of the audience. There were three spot lights placed in different places with a big lead up with mystical music, followed by her appearing out of the corner cart in a disguise made up of sunglasses, a scarf, and a trench coat. She was rolled around in the cart as she preformed her lead single from the newest album to start the night. The concert continued on hit after hit that many of us know and love such as “Up!”, “Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)”, and “You’re Still The One”.

Just before singing another new album song “Giddy Up”, she brought out a fan to the stage. The fan shared with Shania and the audience that she has been to countless concerts to see her favorite musician, Shania Twain. She was wearing an outfit that was an homage to one of Shania’s many iconic outfits. Something Shania shared with the crowd was how she does make a lot of her own concert costumes. This tour specifically, she has used pieces of old outfits and repurposing those into current outfits.

The concert continued with a good mix of songs from the 90s and 00s, but not without singing a couple from the Queen of Me album. The show was full and the preformance had just the right amount of hit songs, new songs, and choreographed dancing to keep everyone on their feet dancing and singling along the whole night long. The opener of the night was Lily Rose, who in 2020 had a viral hit “Villian” that really kicked off her career. Lily Rose also opened from country singer Sam Hunt in August 2023 at their Harrah’s Stir Cove concert.
