KEARNEY – The City of Kearney announces that the following streets will be closed on Saturday, November 11, 2023, beginning at 7:00 a.m.:
- 24th Street from A Avenue to Central Avenue;
- Central Avenue from 24th Street to Railroad Street and
- Railroad Street from Central Avenue to 3rd Avenue.
Additional Closures for Setup/Staging
- 24th Street from A Avenue to E Avenue;
- C Avenue from 24th Street to 25th Street and
- D Avenue from 24th Street to 25th Street.
The purpose of the closure is to conduct the Veterans Day Parade. Staging for the parade will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the parade beginning at 11:00 a.m. The special event is being sponsored by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14.
