HASTINGS — The City of Hastings is hosting strategic plan community focus meetings on Nov. 30 and Dec. 5.
On Nov. 30, City Council First Ward representatives Jeniffer Beahm and Steve Huntley will hold a town hall meeting at Fire Station 2, 1145 S. Hastings Ave., for South Hastings residents. Jeniffer and Steve will gather input on the planned Pioneer Spirit Trail extension and other South Hastings issues.
On Dec. 5, members of the Strategic Planning Citizen Committee will hold the final strategic plan focus group meetings, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., at the Hastings Municipal Airport, 3300 W. 12th St. These last two are communitywide and are meant for anyone who would like to participate in a focus group but have been unable to do so, so far.
