GRAND ISLAND — The City of Grand Island has declared that a Snow Alert/Emergency will take effect at 12 p.m. (noon) on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024 and will remain in effect until 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 based on the official Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service.
During this time, no vehicles may be parked on the City’s snow emergency routes. A list and map of snow emergency routes is available at the City of Grand Island website.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to limit traveling during inclement weather.
