GRAND ISLAND — Long-time Hall County Commissioner Pam Lancaster has filed for re-election, said Hall County Election Commissioner Tracy Overstreet.
Lancaster, 76, will be running for her eighth term on the Board of Commissioners, Overstreet said. Lancaster has served on the Board for 27 years.
Commissioner Karen Bredthauer has filed for re-election. The other incumbent Commissioner whose term is expiring is Gary Quandt, Overstreet said.
The filing deadline for incumbents is Feb. 15.
Overstreet said that three people have filed for re-election to the Grand Island City Council. They are Mark Stelk, Chuck Haase, and Mike Paulick. The other two incumbents on City Council whose terms are expiring are Michelle Fitzke and Bethany Guzinski, Overstreet said.
