Centennial Conference
NEBRASKA – The opening round matchups of the Centennial Conference Tournament had several local teams in action with some moving on to today’s second round.
Kearney Catholic and the GICC boys faced off in Buffalo County for a rematch to determine who travels to #1 Bishop Neumann tonight. The Crusaders controlled the game, winning 43-26 as their contest tonight tips off at 7:15 PM. Check out the Central Nebraska Today photo gallery from the contest here.
Hastings St. Cecilia will face No. 3 Lincoln Lutheran after taking down Lincoln Christian at home 51-39. Their game begins at 6 PM.
Meanwhile, the Kearney Catholic girls will head to Bishop Neumann tonight for their first contest of the tournament. Top-seeded GICC hosts Lincoln Lutheran, and No. 5 Hastings St. Cecilia heads to No. 4 Archbishop-Bergan.
