GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals program is hosting the 8th annual State of the City Address at 8:30 a.m. Friday, February 9 at Bosselman Enterprise on South Locust Street.
This meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to hear from community leaders about current pressing issues and their one-to five-year forecast. The State of the City Address is a free event and open to the public.
Presenters for the State of the City Address are Grand Island Mayor Roger Steele, Grand Island Public Schools Superintendent Matt Fisher, Hall County Board of Commissioners Chairman Ron Peterson, and Northwest High School Superintendent Dr. Jeff Edwards.This event provides a unique opportunity for Grand Island and Hall County residents to hear from key elected officials and development representatives on issues of importance to the public. Attendees get to hear from these organizations all at one time, in one place.
