HASTINGS — A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Thursday, Feb. 29, according to the National Weather Service – Hastings.
Relative humidity values below 20 percent combined with wind gusts of 35 – 40 mph will lead to critical fire weather conditions.
Any fires that ignite may spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Fire weather concerns continue through the weekend due to breezy winds and low relative humidity values.
