Nebraska Husker Football

LINCOLN – Two new Husker players entered the portal on Tuesday afternoon: Korver Demma and Jack Woche have entered their names into the transfer portal, as first reported by Inside Nebraska.

Demma, a second-year linebacker, is a walk-on redshirt freshman and former in-state star out of Gretna High School. Woche, a third-year quarterback, is a sophomore walk-on out of Florida’s IMG Academy who transferred from Ole Miss to Nebraska and spent the 2023 season and 2024 spring with the Huskers.

Demma redshirted his first season at Nebraska after a stellar prep career, tallying 132 total tackles, 23 sacks, and 44 tackles for loss for the Dragons. He was a member of the 2022 Class A State Championship roster that later had the title removed per NSAA regulations. He was a first-team all-state honoree by the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star.

Woche joined Nebraska as a transfer from Ole Miss after a spring in Oxford in 2022.

The walk-ons join only one scholarship player to enter the portal since the Red-White Spring Game on Sat. April 27. Chief Borders, a linebacker for the Big Red, announced his intention to transfer earlier this week.
