GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island woman was arrested after law enforcement says she hit him with a space heater and scratched him during the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 7.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 2:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to S. Lincoln Ave. in reference to an active assault.
A 34-year-old male reported that his ex-wife, Faid Mohamed, hit him with a space heater, causing welts on his arms and scratched his neck and chest with her nails.
The male had visible injuries on his arm, neck and chest.
It was noted Mohamed had a prior conviction for domestic assault on Nov. 6, 2023. She was arrested for third degree domestic assault, a second offense.
Mohamed would be booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
