LINCOLN — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested two people following an investigation into reported sexual assault of a child in Jefferson County.
The investigation began in April, when the Nebraska State Patrol received a report of a sexual assault of a child. On Thursday, May 2, investigators arrested Brandon Myers, 40, of Fairbury, for 3rd degree assault, 3rd degree sexual assault of a child, and child abuse. Myers, an employee of the Jefferson County Jail, was lodged in Thayer County Jail.
After further investigation, Bobbi Myers, 44, of Fairbury, Brandon Myers’ spouse, was arrested on Monday, May 7, for child abuse and failure to report child abuse. Bobbi Myers was lodged in Jefferson County Jail.
