ICYMI: NEW FUNDRAISING EFFORT ESTABLISHED FOR HASTINGS COLLEGE TRACK PROJECT:

Construction will begin in August to revitalize the Jack Osborne Track Complex thanks to more than 140 donors who contributed $1.1 million to a Hastings College Foundation fundraising campaign co-chaired by Justin Osborne and Tamisha Rose-Osgood ‘06.

The total raised exceeded the original goal, which allows the project to include additional seating, an updated entrance to the facility and additional sidewalks to improve accessibility.

Because of these upgrades, Hastings College will host the GPAC conference in April 2025 and will be able to host other high school and college track and field events that will bring visitors to the community.

Planned upgrades include resurfacing the 400 meter, 8 lane track, a new long jump runway and pits, a new discus pad and net system, a new steeplechase, additional bleacher seating, a new entrance, and more.
