GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Police Department will participate in the “Make It Click” campaign.
The Grand Island Police Department was awarded $7,729.76 from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety to be part of the statewide “Make It Click” high visibility enforcement campaign from May 20 – June 2, 2024.
Officers will be working approximately 100 hours of selective overtime enforcement to target vehicles with occupants not wearing seatbelts or children not in child passenger safety restraints.
This enforcement will help to reduce fatal and serious injuries from motor vehicle crashes. Please buckle up, put your phone down and drive safely
