GRAND ISLAND — A Grand Island man was arrested after law enforcement said he issued terroristic threats against Department of Health and Human Services employee on Thursday, May 16.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a DHHS employee in Grand Island received a call from an unknown male who requested their address and then advised he was on his way to the location with a firearm.
The number was later determined to be assigned to Brian Batts. Law enforcement contacted Batts by phone and his location was determined.
After being interviewed, Batts was arrested for terroristic threats and obstruction of a government operation.
He was later booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
