GRAND ISLAND — The Grand Island Police are investigating after it was reported that a vehicle was stolen from Thrifty Car Rental at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport on Tuesday, June 11.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, the reporting party stated that someone broke into a lockbox inside the Central Nebraska Regional Airport and took a key fob from it.
A Toyota pickup was also stolen from the parking lot, which had been started by the key fob.
Also, an airport employee reported that several bathroom fixtures were found to have been deliberately damaged.
The GIPD continues to investigate the case.
