GRAND ISLAND — A pre-trial hearing date in September has been set in the case of a Grand Island man who has been charged with sex trafficking in Hall County District Court.
Logan Bundy, 23, has been charged with three counts of labor/sex trafficking of a minor, Class 1B felonies, three counts of enticement by electronic device, Class 4 felonies and possession of child pornography, a Class 2A felony.
Bundy’s case was bound over to Hall County District Court, and he was arraigned on June 18.
A pre-trail hearing has been set Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. Bundy posted bail in the amount of $900 on June 4.
The Grand Island Police Department (GIPD) had seized Bundy’s phone while investigating a separate case, in which Bundy is alleged to have received nude photos from a 17-year-old Pennsylvania female.
Bundy has been charged with sex trafficking of a minor and possession of child pornography in the case. He posted bail, ten percent of $250,000, on Feb. 21.
According to court documents, during a search of Bundy’s cellphone, officers say they discovered additional conversations with underage girls where Bundy allegedly asks for nude photographs.
Officers located a Snapchat message thread between Bundy and a female who claimed to be 11 years old. Bundy asked if he could save the nude photos from the chat in the message thread.
Subpoenas were issued to Snapchat and the owner of the account was contacted by their local law enforcement, which confirmed her age and her identity.
In a text message thread, officers found messages between Bundy and a 14-year-old female, where he had requested nude photos. Photos were located that showed her in the shower.
Local law enforcement also contacted her and confirmed her age. Her parents also confirmed the photos depicted their daughter.
In another Snapchat message thread, Bundy was messaging another female claiming to be under the age of 17 years old. Officers noted the media in the thread had expired but Bundy asked for nude photos several times.
The owner of the account was identified, and local law enforcement confirmed her age to be 14 years old.
Bundy was arrested and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
