The Nebraska Republican Party, through its Chairman, Eric Underwood announced they would be party to a formal complaint filed with the Federal Election commission against Vice President Harris and her campaign through the organization Citizens United.
Citizens United is an organization dedicated to restoring the government to citizen’s control.
Other states joining the lawsuit are Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virgin Islands, and Wyoming.
The illegal assignment of campaign funds and assets from the Biden campaign to the Harris campaign violates many of the premises of the Federal Election Campaign act of 1972. Specifically, at the end of the second quarter, the Biden Campaign showed $96 million dollars in their account, which was transferred, re-allocated and violated the laws.
This sweep of funds represents double standards the American People have come to loathe from the democrats in power. There is no provision for any transfer of funds prior to a nomination of president, which Harris clearly does not have.
The lawsuit requests that the candidates running for office form a separate committee, not simply move funding from one campaign to another. The complaint requests the FEC “immediately initiate enforcement proceedings to prevent Harris from using her ill-gotten gains for her campaign”.
Eric Underwood stated: “The NEGOP is proud to join in this fight against the radical democrats thinking no laws apply to them. The courts continue to rule in favor of the conservatives as we follow the rule of law. There is no reason this transfer of funds is legal, especially with less than 100 days before the November 5th election.”
