HASTINGS — Mayor Corey Stutte, on behalf of the City of Hastings, provided his condolences to the community of Ozu, Japan after the death of a 13-year-old girl after an incident at the Hastings Aquacourt last week.
“On behalf of the City of Hastings and the other organizations involved in our sister-city relationship, I would like to offer our sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and community of Ozu for the recent loss of your valued community member. We stand with you during this difficult time and hope for strength as you grieve this difficult loss. Also, I appreciate how Aquacourt staff handled the situation, and appreciate the generosity and support of the Hastings-area community through this process.”
