GRAND ISLAND — Fall is in the air, and Homecoming is near! Grand Island Senior High announced the slate of candidates on Homecoming Court this year.
Elected by their student peers, the 2024 GISH Homecoming Court will be honored at next week’s home football game. Each student candidate is involved in different activities at GISH. The announcement was made at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Oct. 9 to prepare for Homecoming Week, which is October 14-18, 2024.
The 2024 GISH Homecoming Court is:
King Candidates:
- Cole Fernau: Football
- Aiden Kluender: Show Choir
- Broxton Barrientos: Baseball, Basketball (not pictured)
- Owen Williams: Football
- Riley Holling: Football, Basketball
Queen Candidates:
- Baylie Ruzicka: Dance
- Tia Traudt: Volleyball
- Dayami Galaviz
- Karlee Lade: Show choir, Athletic Trainer
- Cara Camplin: Cheer, Show Choir
