YORK — Eastbound travelers on Interstate 80 will need to account for a lane closure that will start the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 3 near York.
According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, the eastbound I-80 lanes between Exit 353, US-81 and the York exit at mile marker 361 will be closed at 9 p.m.
The work being done includes the removal and replacement of a bridge beam.
Drivers will detour through York north to Highway 34 and then east to Waco. The detour will turn south on Highway 93B to rejoin Interstate 80.
The closure is expected to last until Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 a.m.
The westbound lanes will remain open.
