BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Community School is thrilled to welcome Curt Tomasevicz, a Nebraska native and two-time Olympic medalist, to our school for an inspiring assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. in the high school gym!

After playing football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Curt transitioned to bobsledding and achieved incredible success. His team won Gold at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and Bronze at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, which was recently upgraded to Silver following the disqualification of the Russian team.

Curt’s presentation, “Have No Fear,” will focus on overcoming challenges and pushing past fear—lessons he learned firsthand during his Olympic journey. He’ll inspire students and attendees to face life’s obstacles with courage and determination.

Highlights of the assembly include:

A video of Curt’s unforgettable 2010 Olympic victory

A chance to see his Olympic medals up close

An interactive Q&A session

This will be an unforgettable experience for everyone, as Curt’s humility and charisma bring his story to life.

A special thank you to The Treasure Trove and former guidance counselor Kirk Ramsey for their generous support in making this event possible!
