KEARNEY — A vehicle left the roadway and collided into the south Scooter’s Coffee location in Kearney during the early afternoon hours of Thursday, Feb. 6.
Around 12:30 p.m., law enforcement and medical personnel were dispatched to the Scooter’s Location at 114 2nd Ave. due to a vehicle that had run into the building.
On scene a white Ford Fusion was partially entrapped in the side of the building on the drive-thru side.
Officers with the Kearney Police Department responded to scene, along with the Nebraska Public Power District.
The vehicle going east on Talmadge St. when it veered off the road and struck the Scooter’s location, according to the KPD.
The vehicle would be removed from the side of the building via tow truck, revealing the damage to the side of the building.
KPD stated that no one was injured as a result of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
