GRAND ISLAND — A man with outstanding warrants in Hall County was found in possession of a stolen bank bag which contained identifications, checks and other documents during the morning of Friday, Feb. 7.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers contacted Clifford Kennicott who was walking behind the Whitehorse Tavern on North Front St.
Kennicott was arrested on two outstanding Hall County arrest warrants, which included failing to appear in court regarding the charges of tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and second-degree trespass.
During a search of Kennicott’s backpack, a stolen bag containing identifications, checks and other documents were found along side his own ID and documents.
Kennicott has been convicted of theft by deception and theft by shoplifting in Hall County in 2015, according to the GIPD.
Kennicott was arrested and booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
