GRAND ISLAND — We are happy to announce the Annual Tri-City Con, which will be held on March 29 – 30 at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center at Fonner Park! Join us to help raise money for the GRACE Cancer Foundation
The Tri-City Con brings together some of the Midwest’s brightest and most talented Husker Athletes, Artists, Writers, Cosplayers, and More! There will be industry professional artists and writers as well as independent publishers and creators showing off their projects. Also, many talented cosplayers will be showcasing their creations and giving instruction about their costume making skills. Along with that we will be showcasing a few retired and current Husker players who will be signing autographs and taking photos!
The Tri-City Con will present a wide variety of Pop Culture Vendors, from retailers to amateur creators. We will also highlight vintage toys, Funko Pops, trading cards, 3-D art, original art, collectibles skateboards, hand crafted items, and specialty baked items. There will be something for everyone!!
The Con itself will start Saturday, March 29th from 9am to 6pm at the Pinnacle Bank Expo Center and run until Sunday, March 30th. We will have a Cosplay event Sunday afternoon with Three categories including First Place, Second Place and Honorable Mention in which the winners will get a special Tri-City Con trophy.
The Tri-City Con recognizes the importance of supporting those in our community so during the event we will be raising money for the Grace Cancer Foundation through silent auction, raffles, and free will donations using items provided by our vendors. 100% of the proceeds go directly toward the Grace Cancer Foundation to help support families that are in need in our area.
Again, one of the best things about the Tri-City Con is that there is something for everyone and kids 13 and younger get in free.
