GRAND ISLAND — A 40-year-old man was arrested in Grand Island after he allegedly asked a juvenile girl to produce child pornography and meet him to engage in sexual acts.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, on Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 18, a male identified as Ricky Ramirez communicated with a juvenile who identified themselves as a 14-year-old girl.
According to the GIPD, Ramirez allegedly asked the 14-year-old to meet up with him in person to engage in sexual acts and to produce child pornography and send it to him. Ramirez later identified a meet up location and time.
Ramirez arrived at the designated location and was subsequently arrested by officers for enticement by electronic device, two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sex trafficking a minor.
