LINCOLN — Doniphan Trumbull has advanced to the Class C1 Boys State semifinals in Lincoln. The 7th seeded Cardinals upset 2nd seeded Ogallala 57-45. Doniphan Trumbull will meet Concordia on Friday at 10:45 a.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
In other area action: Elm Creek saw their season end with a 21-5 record after falling to McCool Junction 65-34 in the opening round in Class D1. Also Fillmore Central’s season comes to close with a 21-6 record following at 64-26 loss in C1 to Lincoln Lutheran.
