GRAND ISLAND — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) have conducted alcohol compliance checks in Hall County.
During the evening hours of Friday, April 4th, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Hall County.
In total, 34 businesses were checked. Two of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 94%. The businesses that failed the compliance check were:
- Caguama Station – Grand Island
- JR Liquor – Grand Island
The businesses checked included restaurants, bars, grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and other establishments that sell alcohol. Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
This project was funded by grant #0043 under the Nebraska Department of Transportation – Highway Safety Office.
