COZAD — Weather permitting, on April 23, the N-21 Cozad Viaduct pedestrian sidewalk at reference post 13.83 will close for bridge construction, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Lobato Construction, LLC, of Brighton, Colo., is the contractor for this project.

The ADA compliant shuttle service will transport pedestrians from East 7th Street to 2nd Street.

Pick-up and drop-off locations will be at the intersection of 2nd Street and N-21 and the northeast corner of 7th Street and N-21, south of Sonny’s Super Foods.

The shuttle service will run seven days a week. Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., the shuttle will pick up passengers at the top and bottom of the hour at the 7th Street location, and at the quarter hours at the 2nd Street location.
