TRI-CITIES — In celebration of Independent Bookstore Day, the Tri-Cities Bookstore Crawl will take place on Saturday, April 26.
The locations taking part in the Tri-Cities include Bryant Books and Music in Hastings, Rooted Books and Gifts in Grand Island and the Sequel Bookshop in Kearney.
Each site has a different offering at Bryant Books and Music, 625 W. 2nd St. in Hastings, there will be door prize drawings, free blind date book with a purchase and a golden ticket giveaway. The location will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At Rooted Books and Gifts, 315 N. Locust St. in Grand Island, there is a free blind date with a book for the first 10 customers, free sticker with a $25 purchase, a pop up from The Crusty Nebraskan from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a golden ticket giveaway. The location will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
At the Sequel Bookshop, 5011 2nd Ave. in Kearney, there will be a free tote with every purchase and refreshments will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Shoppers will be given a card and will receive a stamp when they make a purchase at the three locations, when it is filled up, it can be turned into the last stop to win a prize.
