GRAND ISLAND — A suspect was arrested in Grand Island after they called 9-1-1 20 times in a row and they were later found in possession of methamphetamine.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, around 11:26 p.m., a subject called 9-1-1 dispatch 20 times to file a police report, but there was no evidence a crime had been committed.

The subject was contacted by an officer and instructed to not contact 9-1-1 again unless there was an actual emergency.

Later, Dolly Kyne would be contacted, and officers would determine that she was allegedly under the influence of drugs.

Kyne would be arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and filing a false police report.
