OMAHA — The Nebraska School Activities Association’s state track was on its second day its four-day run at Omaha Burke Stadium on Wednesday for the opening day of the Class A and B meets. Both classes will conclude on Thursday before giving way on Friday and Saturday for the Class C and D meets.
he Kearney High boys track team won their second straight track title Thursday night at Burke Stadium in Omaha.
The Bearcats defeated Fremont 75-66 to win the title over the Tigers, who scored 50 of their points in the long distance races. Lincoln Southeast and Lincoln North Star tied for third with 58 points.
