LINCOLN — Alejandro Robles Rodriguez, age 35, and Jose Garcia Jimenez, age 34, both of Grand Island, are charged in a three-count Indictment.
Count I charges Rodriguez and Jimenez with conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine beginning on or about June 1, 2024, and continuing to on or about November 25, 2024. The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years’ and up to 40 years’ imprisonment, a $5,000,000 fine, a term of supervised release of not less than 4 years and up to life, and a $100 special assessment.
Count II charges Rodriguez and Jimenez with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine on or about November 25, 2024. The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years’ and up to 40 years’ imprisonment, a $5,000,000 fine, a term of supervised release of not less than 4 years and up to life, and a $100 special assessment.
Count III charges Rodriguez and Jimenez with possession of a firearm during and in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime on or about November 25, 2024.
The maximum possible penalty if convicted is not less than 5 years’ and up to life imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 5-year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
