GRAND ISLAND — An attempted burglary at the Chiefs Building location in Grand Island is one of several that has been reported within the past several weeks.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a report was made of someone trying to force the door open at Chief Buildings, on S. North Road.
A metal door had several fresh scratch marks and intentions, along with other damage. The suspect is not believed to have gained entry to the location.
It was noted that there have been several burglaries within the past three weeks at Chief Buildings.
An arrest was made on a suspect last week who was alleged to have committed two separate burglaries at Chief Buildings. The suspect had attempted to sell the items on an online marketplace.
