KEARNEY — The Kearney Park and Recreation Department is currently accepting registration for the Loper Football Camp, scheduled for Monday, July 14, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The camp is for kids grades 1st-6th in the upcoming school year. The camp is led by the University of Nebraska – Kearney coaching staff and players. Participants will learn basic football fundamentals and technique instruction designed to introduce the game of football. No pads or helmets are needed for this camp.
The camp will be held at the UNK Foster Field. All participants registered by Wednesday, July 2, will receive a Loper Camp t-shirt. The cost is $40. To register or for more information: stop by 1930 University Dr., call 308-237-4644, or sign up online at KPRreg.org.
